Colonic Hydrotherapy St. Neots, provided by Primrose Wellbeing Clinic
Founding clinic
When you arrive at the clinic, you will be greeted by your therapist. You will have a consultation to establish particular problem areas and goals. You will then be shown to your own personal ensuite bathroom to change. You will lie comfortably on a couch for the duration of your treatment, the greatest care is taken to maintain the client’s dignity at all times. Via a small plastic speculum, body temperature water will be gently introduced into the colon and the therapist will massage the abdomen to encourage the release of impacted material.

Hi I'm Lucy I started suffering with mysterious uncomfortable gut symptoms in my mid teens which, combined with my innate love of biology and nature, led me to become obsessed with why my bowel wasn't working the way it 'should' (according to mainstream science). I came across colon hydrotherapy and decided to try it. After 3 sessions, the pain I had been feeling for months in one area of my bowel had completely gone. I became even more fascinated in the gut and natural ways to get relief from the discomfort I was experiencing. I trained in colon hydrotherapy in 2011 and opened my own clinic in 2012. This was the start of an ongoing mission to solve the mysteries of the gut and since then, I have been lucky enough to train with and work with some incredible naturopaths, nutritionists, holistic therapists, mindset coaches, biologists and spiritual teachers. My biggest gift has been working with so many different clients and their beautiful unique guts! I am so grateful for this experience that has allowed me to get to know the gut on a truly intimate level. Me experience has shown me that the gut just isn't like most other organs. Sometimes it seems to have a 'mind' of its own... it can defy all logic and behave like a stroppy teenager or a scared little child. Most of us are conditioned to believe that when we get symptoms we have to treat them or fix them and that we have to think our way out of the problem. This is exactly where most people get stuck on their gut healing journey... Our symptoms and our emotions are our gut telling us something and it wants us to pay attention! When we begin to listen to our gut rather than treat it we can turn the very symptoms we are annoyed with into a map to our own self healing.
